About Our Legal Fund
On November 26, 2020, MPP Randy Hillier was charged with violating Ontario’s COVID Regime while speaking at the No More Lockdowns Canada rally in front of Queen’s Park. To charge a Parliamentarian while peacefully protesting public policies on the grounds of Parliament is an unprecedented low in Canadian Legal History. In fact, a number of Ontarians have been unjustly charged under the Reopening Ontario Act. Since then Mr. Hillier has received numerous more summons and tickets for continuing his fight again lockdowns.
No More Lockdowns Canada will be striving to help fund a number of appropriate Legal Defences and promote related ones. In addition, we will attempt to help fund a challenge to the constitutional validity of Bill 195 and/or Ontario’s Emergency Orders. Our goal is to build a large litigation war chest to pursue top notch Constitutional, Masks and/or Social Media censorship litigation.
In Sudbury we had the opportunity to host the daughter of salon owner Keely Turner who is fighting unjust charges for opening up her small business to support her young family.
Following a few interactions with police at her business, she was arrested roadside with her daughter in the car and kept in jail overnight for simply trying to provide for her family.
In Sudbury we helped tell her story and raised funds for her legal defence.
You can help her by donating to her legal defence here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-keelys-legal-defence
Please donate $100, $200, $500 or more today to help us fund and participate in COVID related defences and legal actions.
